Sophia Bunnell is a New York City-based actress working in Film, Television, and Theatre. Most recently, she played Kelsey in the upcoming 2025 film The Housemaid. Sophia is a singer and an experienced rock climber. She grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and spent her summers in Crete, Greece where her mom's side of the family is from.

Sophia began acting at the age of nine in regional musical theatre in Richmond. Her performance as Young Vi in Violet at Cadence Theatre in partnership with Virginia Repertory Theatre received praise in reviews from Broadway World, Style Weekly, and the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Violet also received an RTCC nomination for best musical.​​

Sophia trained for two years in the Meisner Studio at NYU Tisch School for the Arts under the direction of Karen Chamberlain, Gigi Buffington, and Shanga Parker. She then went on to spend 1.5 years at Stonestreet Studios’ Residency in Film and TV. Sophia currently studies at the William Esper Studio in NYC.
